The Hereafter Magazine project is a creation of mine from 2022. As a third-year Press and Editorial Photography student at Falmouth University, I wanted to explore the diverse range of creative pursuits my friends could offer. During the time around COVID in Cornwall, it was difficult. I had this sense at the time that the arts were losing the attention they deserved, especially the artistic output of my generation.
And so, through interviews, photography and design, I told the story of my friends and their place within the artistic scene of Cornwall. Whilst this project is not my best piece of work, it certainly taught me a lot about the craft of writing, photography and design and alongside this, the importance of the creative young being able to express and create in any way they desire.
