Get to know me…
1. Nothing beats the first black coffee in the morning.
2. I’m happiest on a rugged shoreline or atop a glistening mountain peak
3. You can probably find me on weekend evenings, sitting in a wonky, old, cosy pub, sipping gluten-free beer.
4. Writing first found me in primary school, penning dreadful stories of elaborate adventures.
5. My earliest memory of reading is Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe. I recommend everyone pick this up, no matter their age!
6. Photography simply fell into my lap, but I now have a bachelor’s degree in Press and Editorial photography from Falmouth University.
7. I also have a master’s in Professional Writing from Falmouth University. I can’t seem to get away!
8. The Cornish light won’t let me leave. From the crashing waves demolishing rock formations to the bleak, bracken-ridden moors. It has inspired my creative practice greatly, from poetry to photographic explorations and, of course, hiking and swimming.
